Today, I’m excited to share news about a unique collaboration between a giant in French outdoor gear and the womenswear label of a famous Japanese select shop.

Born in the French Alps in 1947, Salomon has been leading global gorpcore and streetwear fashion with its innovative technology and sharp silhouettes. Now, they've teamed up with Ray BEAMS, the ladies' label under BEAMS.

This special release is the first custom-ordered model built on Salomon's next-generation lifestyle sneaker silhouette, the XT-WHISPER: the Salomon x Ray BEAMS XT-WHISPER CHERRY.

02. Cherry Cake Party: Multi-Dimensional Colorway

Designed under the theme "Cherry Cake Party," this special edition translates the sweet color palette and tactile contrast of a cherry cake onto a functional sneaker.







The upper features a soft, bright Ice Pink mesh base, layered with bold cherry pink and rich red overlays across the quarter for a striking visual pop. Sleek black accents on the ankle collar and heel counter balance the vibrant colors, keeping the silhouette grounded and versatile.







Unlike standard models, the entire midsole and outsole feature a matte black finish, adding depth and a sleek urban aesthetic to the shoe.

This collaboration comes in women's sizing ranging from 230 to 250 (EU 36.5 to 40 / US W6 to W8) and will rollout gradually, starting with an early launch in Harajuku followed by official online and in-store releases.
