One of the most unique details of this RRL bandana is the 'discharge printing' technique. Unlike typical screen printing that simply overlays ink onto the fabric, this method involves dyeing the entire fabric in deep indigo first, and then chemically bleaching out the dye to create the pattern.

As a result, the printed areas don't turn stiff, maintaining the fabric's original soft feel. Furthermore, because the bleaching agent penetrates deep into the fibers, the text and graphics appear naturally reversed on the back. This means even if the backside shows slightly when tied or hung, it looks completely natural and stylish.
