Hello, this is Lislab.
Every morning, as soon as I arrive at work, I grab my tumbler of coffee and pick up my pen.
I start the day by organizing my schedule in my diary and transcribing a meaningful quote that resonates with me. This routine is my most precious time for centering myself. On this warm, bright day, I’d like to share one such quote that guided me through the morning.
"What should you do when there is no path ahead of you?
Most people say, 'You have to build one.'
But no, you don't need to struggle to find or build a path.
Simply keep doing what you are doing, silently and steadily.
When you eventually achieve even the smallest thing,
others will start calling that your 'path'."
When I first started this blog, my goal wasn't a grand ambition. I simply wanted to share the items I love and interact with those who appreciate them. But as I began telling the story behind each piece, the density of my posts naturally increased.
"Am I running this blog correctly?"
As a first-time blogger, I was filled with doubts. I was struggling to find and create a path for myself.
However, just like the quote says, I’ve decided to stop worrying about making a path. Instead, I will trust my direction and move forward silently.
Reaching my 30th post, I’ve realized something: the kind comments from supporters, the serious inquiries from those seeking advice, and most importantly, those who stay silently to read every single word—all of you have turned my 30 steps into the 'path' of Lislab.
02. Fading: A 'Path' Formed by my body
My
A.P.C. Petit New Standard, which started its journey with this blog, has been worn 35 times over the past two months. It is now beginning to vividly remember the curves of my body. Beyond the indigo creases, the white core threads are starting to peek through, testifying to the time we’ve spent together.
In March, I wore this pair almost every time I stepped outside. Since April, I’ve been alternating them with my
RRL Low Straight.
Like these jeans that ripen and age with me, I want Lislab to gain depth over time. We are still in the process of carving and engraving the creases along the contours of life, but I believe that, like a perfectly finished fading, the path of Lislab will eventually become clear.
Closing: An Unwavering 'Path'
As this blog grows, many opportunities may come my way, but my conviction will remain unchanged. I will continue to ask the same core question: "Is this an item that can stay with me for a long time, sharing my precious moments and building happy memories?" This question is the identity and top priority of Lislab.
No matter what I post, I will keep walking my path so that the precious trust you place in my writing is never wasted.
I sincerely thank everyone who has been with me through these 30 posts.
Thank you for reading this long journey.
Sincerely, Lislab
