01. On-Body Fit & Silhouette

It’s been over three years since I bought them. While not "beaters," I’ve worn them consistently. The days of dark indigo and stiff creases feel like yesterday, but now, after monthly washes and even machine drying, they boast a beautiful, clear mid-blue hue.

Fullcount’s signature Zimbabwe Cotton truly shines with age. The initial stiffness is long gone, replaced by a texture as soft and cozy as pajamas. Out of all the raw denim I own, these offer the absolute best comfort.

The 1101 features a Regular Straight fit—neither too wide nor too slim. As someone with slimmer legs, I find oversized fits a bit overwhelming, but the 1101’s moderate roominess provides both a flattering silhouette and a classic aesthetic that I reach for time and again.

02. Hemming & Styling Points

Like most heritage denim, the Fullcount 1101 comes with a very long inseam. For the first 3–4 months, I wore them with a heavy double cuff without hemming. I waited until they reached their "final shrinkage" after several wears and washes before taking them to a tailor.

Now, they are hemmed to rest slightly on the instep and drop perfectly at the heel. Whether cuffed or uncuffed, they maintain a clean silhouette that fits any style.

* Hemming Tip: The 1101 is finished with a Chain Stitch. To preserve the unique roping effect and twisting characteristic of vintage denim, I highly recommend using a professional shop capable of chain stitching rather than a standard single-stitch repair.

The generous leg opening allows them to drape naturally over everything from boots to sneakers. The versatility to change the mood simply by adjusting the cuff is one of their greatest strengths.

03. A Continuum of Records

The greatest merit of the Fullcount 1101 is the reliability of its fit and comfort over time. These jeans have been present for the most precious chapters of my life.

From my dating days with my wife to our wedding photoshoot, and now as I spend time with my beloved child—the 1101 has stayed by my side. The color has faded, but the fit and warmth remain unchanged.
